First Oklahoma Bank Hosts Flag-Raising Ceremony
First Oklahoma Bank commemorated the United States’ 250th Anniversary with a special community celebration, highlighted by the raising of a 250th Anniversary American flag atop its iconic domed building.
The ceremony brought together community leaders, residents, and employees to recognize this historic milestone and reflect on the values that have shaped our nation.
The event began with a Presentation of the Colors by the VFW Honor Guard.
Tulsa County Commissioners Kelly Dunkerley and Lonnie Sims delivered remarks, emphasizing the importance of community, service, and civic pride.
Adding to the patriotic atmosphere, a brass quintet featuring members of the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra performed a selection of classic American melodies.
Guests in attendance also received commemorative America 250 flags.
“As a community bank headquartered in Oklahoma, we believe it’s important to honor the milestones that unite us as Americans,” said Tom Bennett III, Co-founder and CEO of First Oklahoma Bank. “Flying the 250th anniversary flag atop our dome is our way of celebrating our country’s history while reaffirming our commitment to serving our customers, communities, and future generations.”
The commemorative flag will continue to be on display through the July 4th weekend.
