Refer a Friend Terms & Conditions

By participating in the First Oklahoma Bank Refer a Friend Program (“Program”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Program Overview
The Refer a Friend Program allows eligible existing First Oklahoma Bank customers (“Referrers”) to earn a referral incentive for referring new customers (“Referred Customers”) who open a qualifying personal checking account with First Oklahoma Bank.
2. Eligibility - Referring Customer
To qualify as a Referrer, you must:
- Be a current personal checking account customer of First Oklahoma Bank
- Maintain your account in good standing at the time the referral is made and when incentives are paid
- Not be an employee, officer, director, contractor, or immediate family member of such individuals, unless otherwise permitted by First Oklahoma Bank policy
Each customer may receive incentives for up to 10 qualifying referrals per year. First Oklahoma Bank reserves the right to impose limits or modify eligibility in the future.
3. Eligibility - Referred Customer
To qualify as a Referred Customer:
- You must be a new customer who does not currently have, and has not had within the past 12 months, a personal checking account with First Oklahoma Bank
- You must open a qualifying new personal checking account during the promotional period
- Business accounts, fiduciary accounts, and non‑consumer account types are not eligible
All accounts are subject to First Oklahoma Bank’s standard account approval, identity verification, and underwriting requirements.
4. Qualifying Account Requirements
To qualify for the referral incentive, the Referred Customer must:
- Open a qualifying personal checking account, and
- Meet one (1) of the following requirements at account opening:
- Set up direct deposit, or
- Make a minimum opening deposit of $1,000, and
- Maintain the account open and in good standing for at least 60 consecutive days from the account opening date
Definition of “Good Standing”
For purposes of this Program, an account is considered “in good standing” if:
- The account remains open and active
- The account maintains a positive balance and is not overdrawn or repeatedly overdrawn
- There are no unresolved negative balances, charge‑offs, or collection activity
- The account is not subject to fraud review, legal hold, operational restriction, or account freeze
- The account is not closed by the customer or by First Oklahoma Bank during the qualification period
Unless otherwise stated in the specific account disclosure:
- No minimum daily balance is required after account opening
- No minimum number of transactions is required
First Oklahoma Bank reserves the right to determine whether qualification requirements have been satisfied.
5. Referral Process
Referrals must be made using First Oklahoma Bank‑approved referral methods, which may include:
- An official referral link provided by First Oklahoma Bank
- A First Oklahoma Bank‑provided referral card presented at the time of account opening
Referrals must be identified at the time the new account is opened. Retroactive or post‑opening referrals will not be accepted.
For security and privacy reasons, customers should not forward bank marketing emails. First Oklahoma Bank will never request your password, PIN, full Social Security number, or online banking credentials via email, text message, or unsolicited phone call.
6. Incentive Amount and Payment
- Eligible Referrers will receive a $50 payment, either as cash or a deposit into their qualifying account
- Eligible Referred Customers will receive a $50 payment, either as cash or a deposit into their new qualifying account
Incentives will be deposited within 30 days after all program requirements are satisfied, including completion of the 60‑day qualification period.
Incentives are not transferable, may not be redeemed for cash, and may not be substituted.
7. Tax Reporting
Referral incentives may be considered taxable income. First Oklahoma Bank may issue IRS Form 1099 or other required tax documentation as applicable. Participants are solely responsible for any federal, state, or local tax obligations.
8. Program Monitoring and Abuse
First Oklahoma Bank reserves the right to:
First Oklahoma Bank reserves the right to monitor referrals for fraud, abuse, or misuse and may withhold, reverse, or deny incentives if program requirements are not met or if activity is deemed suspicious or inconsistent with the intent of the Program.
The Bank’s decisions regarding eligibility and qualification are final.
9. Modification or Termination of Program
First Oklahoma Bank reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this Program or these Terms & Conditions at any time, with or without notice, subject to applicable law. Changes will be effective upon posting to this webpage.
10. Additional Disclosures
- This offer may not be combined with other promotional offers unless expressly stated
- Participation in the Program does not guarantee account approval
- The Program is void where prohibited by law
