What do I need to open a high yield Online Checking Account?

  • New customers will need the following:
    • Driver’s license: We’ll need to take a picture of it later in the process
    • Social security number: We will need your SSN and a few personal details to create your profile
    • A few answers: Be ready to answer a few authentication questions before setting up your account
    • A funding source: We’ll use Plaid® to help you login to an existing account and move money to your new one
  • Existing customers will need:
    • Online banking login information
    • An opening deposit can be made by transfer after the Online Checking Account is established


Can I add someone else to my Online Checking Account?

  • Yes! You can add up to 3 joint owners when opening a new account online.
  • If you need to open an alternate ownership type such as a trust or need to add PODs to the account, please complete the opening process and then contact us via chat, phone, or visit a branch and we can update the ownership type.

Can I go into the branch to get help with an Online Checking Account?

  • Of course! All of our convenient tools are available to you in-person, online, or over the phone.
  • One of the fastest ways to get service on your account is to chat with us in the mobile app. From there, we can provide technical assistance, send and receive documents, or set an appointment with a banker.
